Acceptable use policy

These rules apply to every photo you upload and every video you create on Remake the Trend, and are part of our terms of service.

Prohibited content

You may not upload photos for, or use generated videos to create or share:

1. Sexual or NSFW content: nudity, sexual acts, sexually suggestive content or fetish content.
2. Violence or gore: graphic injury, blood, animal cruelty, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
3. Hate speech: content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits, including hateful symbols.
4. Child safety: any photo of a child, and anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation: in Remake the Trend, Laughing Fairy, Christmas Morning, Santa Transformation, Doorbell Cam, Dinosaur Chase, Earth Zoom Out, 90s School Photo, Meet Your Younger Self, Rock Concert, Zombie Transformation, Claymation, Shaving Cream Trend, Bby Wow Guy, C-Walk, Smooth Criminal Dance, Selfie With Santa, Santa Caught on Camera, Snow Globe, Santa's Sleigh, Christmas Elf Dance, Thanksgiving Dinner, Red Carpet, Money Rain, Action Figure, Meet Your Older Self, Mermaid, Werewolf Transformation, Living Painting, K-pop Idol, Tiger Hug, Glow Up, Bulin 47, Coffee Shop Bop, Bicep Heart, Bye Bye, First Time in a Fancy Cafe, Cheba Man, Easy Solo Dance, photos of public figures or celebrities, photos of anyone who didn't agree, and videos presented as real footage or used to deceive, harass, defame or commit fraud; in Pet Barbershop, Pet Spa Day, Pet Trail Cam, La Calabaza, Pet Fridge Cake Heist, I Wanna Love You Pet, Single Ladies Dog, Cat Stage Dance, Pet Christmas, Singing Pet, Pet Chef, Pet Interview, photos of any person, including public figures and celebrities, and videos presented as real footage or used to deceive, harass, defame or commit fraud.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement: photos you don't have the rights to, and adding protected logos, characters, songs or clips owned by others.

How we keep the service safe

• Every trend is a fixed template written by us. You can't replace our prompt; the only words you can add are a short note under the preview (up to 120 letters and numbers) that goes inside it and is refused if it asks for anything intimate.
• For Remake the Trend, Laughing Fairy, Christmas Morning, Santa Transformation, Doorbell Cam, Dinosaur Chase, Earth Zoom Out, 90s School Photo, Meet Your Younger Self, Rock Concert, Zombie Transformation, Claymation, Shaving Cream Trend, Bby Wow Guy, C-Walk, Smooth Criminal Dance, Selfie With Santa, Santa Caught on Camera, Snow Globe, Santa's Sleigh, Christmas Elf Dance, Thanksgiving Dinner, Red Carpet, Money Rain, Action Figure, Meet Your Older Self, Mermaid, Werewolf Transformation, Living Painting, K-pop Idol, Tiger Hug, Glow Up, Bulin 47, Coffee Shop Bop, Bicep Heart, Bye Bye, First Time in a Fancy Cafe, Cheba Man, Easy Solo Dance: Only photos of adults are accepted. Before generating you confirm that everyone in the photos is 18 or older and agreed, and we record when you confirmed it.
• For Pet Barbershop, Pet Spa Day, Pet Trail Cam, La Calabaza, Pet Fridge Cake Heist, I Wanna Love You Pet, Single Ladies Dog, Cat Stage Dance, Pet Christmas, Singing Pet, Pet Chef, Pet Interview: Only pet photos are accepted. Before generating you confirm the photo is of your own cat or dog, and we record when you confirmed it.
• Uploads must be real JPG, PNG or WebP photos. Every photo goes through an automatic content-safety check, and the image and video models also apply their own safety filters to every generation.
• We review every report and remove content that breaks these rules.
• Every video is labelled as AI-generated on the site, and we ask you to use the AI-generated label when you post it.
• Uploaded photos are deleted automatically: after 2 days if they were never used for a video, otherwise after 30 days.

What happens if you break these rules

We block the video, delete the photos and videos concerned, and may close the account. Serious violations, including anything involving children, are reported to law enforcement.

Report a video

If you see a video made with Remake the Trend that breaks these rules or uses your likeness without consent, email support@remakethetrend.com with the subject "Report", a link to the video and a short description. We review every report within 2 business days.
